Service Description

This is a Fall Art course for Elementary aged students. We will meet Mondays from 4:15pm-5:15pm. We will begin August 31st and go until November 30th, with no classes on Sept 7th (labor day), October 12 (MISD off school), and November 23rd (Thanksgiving break). This is 11 classes total. If I need to cancel class for any reason a make up day will be scheduled on December 7th (or an off day) My goal in this class is to get students excited about art and the process of making by providing them with a range of supplies and material to experiment with and a space where they can be comfortable to explore and try new things. We will learn and grow in confidence through exploration of ideas and materials. Throughout the class I will introduce various Art concepts and techniques suited to the project they are working on. I love seeing their creativity and confidence grow within the course of a semester. The Fall semester is a lot of fun with seasonal projects. You can pay in full or monthly. The full cost is $275 and includes all materials. If you wish to pay monthly choose "pay in person" at checkout and write "pay monthly" in the registration form. I will send out invoices at the beginning of each month. Monthly payments will $35 material start up fee in August, and then $80 for the months of September, October, and November. This course is included in the studio membership. If you have a studio membership choose "Pay in person" and write "studio member" in the notes. If you wish to purchase a membership you can do so on the "membership" page or message me with questions. If you join throughout the semester I will prorate the cost; you are welcome to join at anytime as long as there is available space. Drop-ins are welcome if there is available space. The drop-in rate is $30.
